Ah, I'm sorry I spoiled you a bit. ^^; I figured that since the game's been out for a while it would be ok to wall by now.
I'm glad you like my planet! At first it started out like crap, but then I kept adding more and more layers, blurring my brush strokes, and adding emboss layers and inverted color layers (offset by a few pixels) to add shadows and depth. Took a while, but I got to the result you see now. I used the scan as a reference to study how the clouds should look. Yeah, it would have been easier to find a stock planet, but I figured since I already used a stock for the stars, I should just make my own planet. I'm glad you like it!
